ITSOFOMO is an incredibly bitter and angry album. It is an almost justifiable hatred. The author of the album spent the latter part of his life watching his friends suffer from HIV. The governement did nothing but demonize individuals with HIV during this time. It was nothing more than a "moral failure" in the eyes of the law, and those with the sickness deserved the suffering the illness brought to them. The author eventually succumb to the same disease he watched his community go through. This album is his dying breath. It isn't very accessible. It can at times be grating to listen to. But so are the last gasps of someone who is dying.

From the ground we came, and to the ground we will return. The peace found in the acceptance of this fact is only granted to those who learn to love. Love for nature. Love for people. Love for the gift of existence itself.

The experience of feeling alone surrounded by people. American life is fast-paced and cutthroat. For the poor, it leaves little room for anything other than work. Trailer trash is treated as such. It feels impossible to escape that life. This album doesn't offer a solution.
